DUKANE 110-2185A AC TO DC POWER SUPPLY This power supply is sturdily built on a 14 1/4" rack mount chassis. It came from an installers stock and has been tested. The label on it states its function is for a nurse's call station. That tells us that it was designed for maximum reliability. The input has a transformer with an MOV shunting hot & neutral, one 1A 3AG SloBlo input fuse, one spade terminal 1000V/40A bridge rectifier feeding one radial screw terminal 6500 mfd/50V main filter capacitor. The ouput circuit has one 4A 3AG fuse feeding solid state regulation with toroidal choke & capacitive filtering to provide a pure DC source. There are two 12 Vdc outputs, accessible from terminal strip. Input is by wire; 1ea, hot, neutral, & ground. If one was to purchase the rectifier, the NTE 5344 equivalent sells for $16; the capacitor would sell for a similar amount. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
