Nice Renco Modular 2.1 Inch Encoder Kit with Cover, 2 Screws and Allen wrench. The encoder is labeled with custom part number P/N 77678-329 D/C 0237. I believe this is a customized version of the Renco RM21 model. I do not know the resolution but judging by the glass scale it appears to be the high resolution (more then 256 lines). Has many applications in robotics, closed loop CNC, stepper and AC servo etc. Output cable that looks like Renco "Standard shielded round cable (CA18) with connector P/N AMP 103971-7 or equivalent." LINE DRIVER (LD) chip is TI AM26LS31CD.
