Place the sensing clamp compleatley around the positive or negative weld cable, making sure that clamp is at least 6 inches away from opposite cable. If cable is small, it is O.K. for clamp to hang loosely. 2. Timing starts immediately upon initiating the welding arc and stops immediately upon extinguishing the welding arc. 3.
