At any rate, I do not know alot about this unit. It was left in a rental unit I own by a tenant who operated a welding shop. All 3 presses work and are fully operational. Here is what I could find: It was maunufactured by Chas G. Allen Co. in Barre, MA It has the stamping 3 DBHI, with 17660 underneath. (I assume this is a model and serial #) The spindle speeds are adjustable from 1,000 rpm to 8,040 rpm. The chucks are Jacobson 6A, cap 0-1/2", 2A taper The motors have no id tags, but measure 8" long and 7" in diameter. The are greasable in 2 places. I don't know too much about this kind of equipment, so I don't know how much help I'll be, but I'd be glad to look for any kind of information on the units if you guide me to it, and I'll take any pictures you want and email them to you. I have no idea of the age, but I'm sure they're pretty old. They do work, I've seen them in operation. Check out http://nsmachine.com/11279.html and you'll see a single press machine that looks extemely similar, with a ton of specs listed. I'm not saying that machine is the same, you'll have to judge that, but it may give you some specs you'd need. Check out the price also!!! Also see to see if you can find out more.
