Vintage 1942 Boulin Strobomeca surveying optical tacheometer or tachymeter scale device. Manufactured by Boulin Instrument Corporation. We believe this instrument was used for measuring speed or rotating speed. May also have been used by watch makers. Appears to be in good working order. The key winds and spins nicely. There is a part or serial number 3552 located at one end of the metal strip around the instrument. Not sure if the item is complete - see photos. Includes the Strobomeca instrument, original case, four discs and booklet. The booklet is copyright dated 1942. We've included photos of a few pages of the instruction booklet.
