Easy Do It Yourself Instructions: To mount a ceiling Medallion, apply a 1/4" (6 mm) bead of latex/Adhesive caulk to the perimeter of the back surface of the product. Press it into place and fasten it with three trim head screws. The screws should be placed such that their recessed heads can be easily filled and blended. Often, the best place to locate screws is into ornamentation as opposed to a plain area. This way, the filled holes are less likely to be noticeable. Apply caulk around the medallion edge and ceiling (This gives the medallion appearance as being part of the ceiling) Our mouldings are made of the highest-density urethane in the industry, producing a moulding with deep, crisp, impeccable detail. Unlike wood, these mouldings are impervious to moisture, will take nails without splitting or splintering, and are strong, lightweight, pre-primed and easy to install.
