S-7 is known for it's very high impact resistance, its strength and toughness make it useful for many types of tooling applications.It is recommended for applications that require resistance to impact and shock loading, such as shear blades, dies, molds, chisels, punches, etc. "Oversize" in product title refers to the actual dimesnions of the item are larger than listed, this allows for finishing to listed size.
