Jean Schultz is presenting: Datum starloc ii gps disciplined frequency standard
On offer is a StarLoc II GPS Precision Time and Frequency Standard board.
* I bought this as an untested OEM 24Volt version along with the other similar item I have on sale. It comprises an uncased circuit board requiring just a single 24 Volt +/- 20% supply at 0.625A max to operate. Current drops to around 0.35A after the oven warms up.
* I have not been able to fully test this board as it has a TNC antenna input and I don't have a suitable adaptor, although it does communnicate on the COM port OK. Control software can be supplied if required.
* The board contains a very high quality ovened crystal frequency standard which is disciplined onto exactly 10 MHz by receiving the Atomic clock derived timing information that is transmitted by the GPS satellite constellation.
* The 10MHz signal and a 1 Pulse per second signal are provided on BNC connectors.
* A Motorola UT+ Oncore GPS timing receiver board is supplied fitted to the StarLoc II.
* The frequency standard has a TNC type antenna connector.
* At powerup the standard automatically goes into self survey mode. Once it has established its location it goes into position hold mode and then generates accurate timing information which is used to pull the standard onto exactly 10MHz.
* Please see the following link for a full description of the boxed vesion of this model from Symmetricom's website http:// /media/pdf/documents/ds-starloc2.pdf
Finally, please check out any other items I may have for sale
