This control head has an LED Numeric Display as well as indications for transmit, busy(rx indication), scan functions, monitor state, and repeater on/off state. It has push buttons to control scan, add/del scan channels, monitor, and repeater activation. The knob controls allow for simple adjustment of volume, squelch, and channels. The rear of the control head has a 12 Pin molex connector and a DB37 pin control cable connector. The control head houses the CX-56 Control Board, CX-57 Display Board, CX-58 Knob Board, CX-59 Cable Interface Board, and the Z-475 Microphone The control head does not have an internal speaker. Pins 4 and 6 on 12 pin molex connector on rear of control head are for the speaker connections. Program Note: Any programming to configue this control head is done within the Midland Syn-Tech II software via the trunk unit. The trunk unit contains all eeprom personality info including control head configurations. Because of this, no programming can be offered for the control head.
