If you're the type person who gets all disturbed when the insulation melts off your wires, then it might be time to integrate a few of these into your circuits. They are solid brass with a surface coating of some kind of silver metal, which looks like chrome - cadmium or tin, maybe? They are quite springy considering they are brass, so they are probably some kind of brass alloy, or perhaps cold worked in some way. They do not attract a magnet. The hole in the bottom is sized perfectly for mounting with a #6 machine screw or pem stud, so you could easily make your wire connections with small ring terminals. Presumably, they could also be soldered into place.
Length (running the same direction as the fuse): .315"
Width (measured perpendicular to the fuse): .335"
*When weighing these, I found an occasional variant type holder mixed in, averaging perhaps 5 to 10 per lot. I couldn't get myself excited about picking them out, so I tossed in enough extra pieces to make up the difference in count.
