3+ Golden Sebright Bantam Hatching Eggs The layers are being fed 20% protein layer mash, some greens and scratch for fun. This flock has tested clean for Pullorum/Typhoid by Texas A & M and is registered with the Texas Animal Health Commission. Sebright Bantams originated in the early 1800's, and have the unique distinction of being the only chicken that is "hen feathered". This means that the male, unlike other chickens, has no pointed sex feathers in the hackle, saddle, or tail. The Sebrights are very small and docile. The standard weight for a male is 22 ounces and the female is 20 ounces. The hens lay cream colored eggs. These Goldens are a golden-bay color having each feather laced in black, and a rosecomb. In bright sunlight the black lacing of each feather reflects an iridescent sheen making them seem even brighter and reminiscent of stained glass. We guarantee the number of eggs you purchase will arrive unbroken!
