Eggs will be from three types of Cuckoo breeding: From these eggs you will hatch Cuckoo males, Cuckoo females and solid color hybrid Cuckoo females. (There is also the possibility of hatching a solid colored male, which is a result of the Cuckoo male to hybrid Cuckoo female breeding.) All eggs will come from unrelated parents. I have hatched beautiful chicks with excellent foot feathering, five well-spaced toes and nice combs from my current group of breeders. Almost all all of the chicks have had vaulted skulls, huge crests and so far all have been bearded. A major development is starting to appear regarding the color of the Cuckoo's combs. SOME of the newest generation Cuckoo chicks (even the males!) have BLACK combs as seen in the image of the youg male below. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
