Up for sale is an Elecraft K2, serial # 3206. It has the thermistor modification in it, and the firmware is version 2.04P. I am the original builder and owner of these units. Included is the SSB option, KSB2, which is configured for 2.6 kHz transmit bandwidth. The SSB board has the modification for more microphone gain, and the modification to lower the bass audio on transmit. The receiver has the typical Elecraft quiet background noise. The signals do seem to jump out from the speaker. Included is the K60XV module which allows 60 meter operation (I never got around to trying that band). This module supplies the milliwatt range (28 MHz) IF to back panels RCA's for external transverters, such as Elecraft XV-50. (I have one for sale seperately.) This K2 also includes the RS-232 I/O option, which allows computer control of the K2, in addition to controlling the external KPA100. The KPA100 is mounted in the Elecraft matching EC2 cabinet. This let me grab the barefoot K2 and take it portable. I also will include the "un-header' plug that is in place where the AF or DSP filter goes. You just unplug this module and plug one of those filters in. I will also include the bypass plug for the SSB board and the K60XV boards. With these bypass headers, you can pull the appropriate module out, plug the correct jumper in and the radio will keep working. Very handy. The manuals for the K2, the KPA100, the KSB2 SSB board, the KIO2, and the K60XV60 module are included. A fused DC power cord is included. A microphone is not included. The 8 pin microphone connector is configured for the Icom style microphone (set up for the Elecraft MH2 microphone), with +5 bias supplied via a 4.7K resistor.
