Generally, the parts are in decent shape for a restoration. The worst thing I have seen is the bottom of the cylinder bore has some pitted rust(see photo). The connecting rod/crank bearing inserts are worn. The main casting shows no sign of cracks or prior welding or repairs. Four head mounting bolts are included. The Crank Shaft rotates smoothly when mounted in the main casting. Included is the drive pulley shown. The governor/timing/magneto assembly appears to be all there. All the parts move freely. The points are rusty and needs to be replaced. The cap is missing. The condition of the magneto is unknown. The push rod and the carburator connecting linkage are included. The rocker arm assembly is in good shape with no prior welding or repair. Two mounting bolts are included. The timing gears on both the crank and governor assy show little sign of wear. The carburator appears to be complete. The throttle plate and choke move freely. One carburator mounting bolt is included. The crank handle works. An oiler is included. Nothing is frozen. All the parts are restoreable. The parts are rusty mostly from being stored in a shed and not from being stored outside. Missing parts include the piston, head/valve assy. and the muffler. There may be other parts missing. Look over the pictures. They show detail of all the parts offered. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
