This hydraulic electric pump is Power up and down, holds hay bale up on up side. This pump is a very dependable unit. We have sold it for over 12 years. This JSB Barnes 12 volt electric hydraulic pump is used by us on our pickup truck hay bale spear spike mover or carrier. It is also used on ag or industrial hydraulic dump beds on trucks and trailers. This JSB Barnes Haydex electric hydraulic pump comes with a 3 quart reservior or tank. It will normally operate (1) 16 inch long cylinder with 1.25 inch shaft or (2) 3x8 cylinders or 2(2) 2x24 cylinders with 1 inch shaft. Larger reservoirs are available but are usually only required with like a 24 inch cylinder with a 2 inch shaft size. The cylinder stroke and shaft size determines tanks size needed.
