This is a spool of WL Gore Mono-Tet Teflon wire, AWG #24, 19 strands, each strand #36, this has a wound Teflon insulation, with a thin brown stripe, this was made in the 1960s for the space program, it's VERY NICE wire. The whole spool weighs 7.5 lbs, so while the spool is metal, there's a LOT of wire on here, and I think I can safely say it's at least 5lb of wire. This is sold by the tube amplifier guys for $10 for 100 feet, there's about 2500 feet on here.
