These are recommended for Direct Viewing and Subtle Illumination Such as: Interior Vehicle Lighting or Control-Dashes & Gauges, and Rear-View displays. Our Ready To Use 12v LEDs use both a resistor and circuit protection diode. This prevents blowing your LEDs and 'burnouts' after a few days. Competitor products without circuit protection diodes will blow out! Or worse, cause interferences with your auto's computer system! Wide angles are important because most typical LEDs only have 10-15° viewing angles which require you to view them dead on! Do you want to control panel gauges with narrow intensified beams that can cause distraction to your driving? Of course not. WIDE angle LEDs are necessary so that you view them from the sides and variable distances not directly. This maybe doesn't suit my MOD needs. Do you have other selections?
