Up for your consideration is a Cabletron TDR-5000 for testing the length of coax and other cables. If you think you have a break or a leak somewhere down the line on your coax cable, this tester will tell you how far out the problem is. The case has its share of scratches, but no dents. The carrying handle adjusts to 8 different positions, and acts as a stand to hold the scope towards you for better viewing. There are a few Eastman Kodak stickers on the unit. It was last calibrated in 1988, and says that it will need to be recalibrated in 1989. The build code is 49-85, so it is just over 21 years old. The serial number is 017. There is one BNC connector on the rear, and two on the front. Some of the knobs on the front include: SENSITIVITY, FEET/DIV, DISTANCE, PULSE, X10, ZERO, and the usual focus knobs. The Trace is bright and easy to focus. The scope can be back lit, and that feature is working as designed too. The unit appears to be working, but hard to put thru the paces without a manual. Plus, I'm more of an appliance operator than a radio technician, so it's hard for me to know what else to look for. The approximate dimensions are 18"x11"x5.5". It weighs about 17 lbs.
