* Tractor has set for the last year or so, ran when parked. * When I got it some one had removed the top transmission cover and pedestal (still loose). They stated it had got hung in a gear (the reason it was parked) and could not get all the slides lined back up. It is now out of gear. All gears and shifting rods and forks look great inside the case. * Clutch snaps in and out like it should. * Rocker shaft lever arm is broke but I have the piece and can be welded back easily. * Hood has been cut around muffler but the did a decent job. Small hole in the manifold. * Tractor is free and turns over fine, however I can not get any fire out of the Wico Mag to the plugs. * Good rims front and back, tire's are weather checked. * Still has a good set of radiator shutters up front. * Had anti-freeze in the radiator, good looking oil in the block. * Has/had good gas in the tank when I got it. * Good draw bar and draw bar assembly. * Still has original John Deere Generator. * No breaks or welds in any of the casting's. * Other than the top transmission cover it looks like the tractor has never been apart. * Great project for the young John Deere mechanic, father/son project or just a good tractor at a good price to restore.
