Philips PM5193 : 0.1mHz to 50mHz frequency range, 8 digit resolution; waveforms: sine wave, square wave, triangle, haversine, distortion, sawtooth (positive-and negative-going ramps), positive and negative pulse; modulation: internal and external am, internal and external fm, sweep, internal and external gate, and burst; gpib, led display. THIS UNIT PASSES ALL OF ITS OWN SELF DIAGNOSTIC TESTS ; TEST 1 , DISPLAY & LED ; TEST 2 , KEYBOARD TEST ; TEST 3 , STORAGE REGISTER TEST ; TEST 4 , STROBE TEST ( TEST OF THE INTERNAL INTERFACES ) ; TEST 5 , TEST OF THE IEEE/IEC-BUS INTERFACE When unit powered up it displays ERR 3 RAM checksum error ; operation possible, but memory contents destroyed ( which happens to RAM when TEST 3 , THE STORAGE REGISTTER TEST IS PERFORMED (no RAM memory in register) A FULLY FUCTIONAL PROGRAMMABLE SYNTHESIZE/FUNCTION GENERATOR.
