I have here a used cylinder head with valves, springs, keepers from a non-running STANDARD Massey Harris 44 DIESEL. The head looks good, but it has NOT been tested. All the valves are free, but a few are a little sticky and will need to be lubed up. The valves look good. There is some pitting on the bottom of the head by 2 of the valves (see pictures), so I recommend that you have this cylinder head re-surfaced at a machine shop. I resurfaced a different cylinder head from a 44 Diesel and it costed around $40.00, not bad. The surface where the manifold bolts on looks nice. This cylinder head also has a hole in the top where a pipe was threaded in for the temperature gauge and the engine heater hose. This cylinder head looks good, but it has not been pressure tested so I cannot guarantee that it works. The part number on the head is HD280A-CWC. Thanks for looking!!!!
