Quorum Qfax APT weather satellite receiver. This is a satellite receiver card that plugs into ISA slot on a desktop PC. It's a complete system including the 137MHz satellite band receiver, image processor and software to manipulate the satellite images and to automate the satellite reception. Only thing you need add is some sort of an antenna. Even a most simple 1/4-wave GP will receive the signal from NOAA polar orbit satellites quite fine. More elaborate turnstile or quadrifilar helix antennas work obviously even better. With this card you can receive APT satellite images from NOAA and Russian METEOR satellites. With additional down converter (not included) you can also receive very high quality images from the GOES satellites. Also, when connected to a shortwave receiver (not included) it captures WEFAX weather maps. These satellite receivers are not easy to find.
