This is a surface grinder spindle adapter. The inside is tapered, at the large end of the taper it measures approx. .985" on the id and at the small end about .658" There is also a keyway slot on the inside of the taper. The spanner nut does say LH on it for LEFT HAND Threads, but inside that adapter on the one end there are 1" diameter female right hand threads. I am not sure what type of wheel it is, looks blue to me, this might even go with a tool and cutter grinder of some type. I have no way to test the wheel so I can not guarantee that the wheel itself is any good, but the value is in the adapter anyway. There is no name on it. Might be a SOPCO ?
