For your consideration one near mint Alinco DJ-280T 220 Mhz HT Transceiver, with lots of extras. I am the original owner, having purchased it new a few years ago. Never used it much at all, it still looks “like newâ€. Cosmetically, on a scale of 1 to 10, it’s a 9.99. Electrically, its a perfect 10, NO PROBLEMS. Included and installed is the optional EJ-15U 200 memory channel upgrade, NOT the 10 or 50 memory unit that you usually see with these. Along with the radio, you will also receive the following: 2- Antennas. The original ¼ wave and a 5/8 wave Smiley rubber duck. 2- Batteries. A brand new 1100 MA battery and the original 700 MA battery. 1- Alinco EDH-12 DC adapter/battery eliminator. Snaps on the radio in place of the battery, allowing you to power it directly from your power supply or other 7 to 12 volt source. You will need a proper cable to use this. I misplaced the original and cannot find it. They should be readily and cheaply available at your local Radio Shack. 1- Alinco EMS-47 microphone. Please note that I disliked the tinny audio from this speaker/ mic. I removed the speaker prong from the plug so that it now functions as a microphone only. Audio from the radio speaker is MUCH better. 2- Memory chips. The original 10 channel memory chip is included. The EJ-15U 200 channel chip is installed. All original boxes. Schematic. Owners manual is included on CD in PDF format. Radio has the simple, non invasive, keypad mod that allows extended receive, but not extended transmit.
