This is a 50000 Ohm Cartridge Resistor which is probably rated at 125 watts or better. Measures about 7.5 inches long by 1.125 inch in diameter. Military Specification, removed from boat anchor equipment. Probably made by Ward Leonard. Weighs about 6.4 oz or 184 grams. Also available is a 45000 Ohm Resistor, same size and specs.
