Wow, these are getting scarce and expensive nowadays (like $65.00 for a matched pair from the big boys!). Here is a NOS NIB MATCHED PAIR of RCA-made 6JB6 tubes (GREAT set!)-made in USA. 6JB6's are specified for Drake T4-X-series transmitter models-also for some of the small six-meter linear amplifier models (like the vintage Lafayette, I think). Both were made by RCA (have "octagon numbers"). One was outsourced by GE to RCA when RCA was tooled up to make 6JB6's. That was common practice back in the good old tube days and done for economic considerations. Both are internally identical. These fine tubes were matched in a college electronics lab within 3% using the voltage-current method and both tested EXCELLENT on a Knight 600B tube tester. You KNOW 6JB6's are difficult to come by-ESPECIALLY a MATCHED PAIR-so better act now! (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
