The previous lab used this primarily to test products for wind driven dust damage. The tunnel was set up as a closed loop constructed on panels giving it a 6' by 6' cross section. The product being tested was placed in one of these areas. The size and velocity of the air stream can be controlled by choosing the correct nozzle sections. This tunnel was designed to be operated outside, and takes up a fair amount of space when fully constructed. We ran the fan with a short run of nozzle tubing connected and got about 75 miles per hour about twenty feet away from the fan. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
