Vintage W & L.E. Gurley Surveyers Transit, box, and tripod (all original). Number stamped on item indicates 550525. Optics provide clear views throughout all magnifying ranges. The swivel, focus, and leveling functions all work fine. The paint is chipping (as you can see in the photos) due to it's age. Original wooden box with leather strap and brass logo plate. Box and strap both show signs of wear. This item also includes original wooden tripod stand with the transit mount and adjustable wooden extending legs. one containing the transit in its box and the other being the tripod.
