What I am selling is one very gently used Sokkia SDR8100 data collector (datalogger) with SDR Level 5 Software installed. Also included are: software & documentation CD, instrument cable, charging/communication cable, cordura soft case, charger, stylus and NiMH main battery. The data collector is in perfect like-new condition. This equipment has been thoroughly tested and is guaranteed to be ready to work when you receive it. SDR LEVEL 5: The SDR8100 with SDR Level 5 is the logical upgrade path for Surveyors who have used SDR33 and/or SDR31 data collectors in the past. In fact, if you have ever used an SDR33 data collector, you probably already know how to use the SDR8100. The SDR Level 5 software has the same logical menu structure as the SDR3X data collectors. The SDR8100 collects data from a wide variety of GPS receivers, digital levels, and Total Stations and provides extensive routines for coordinate geometry and road stakeout. If you want a modern data collector with the legenday quality, reliability and durability of the SDR33 to use with your GPS equipment, the SDR8100 may be perfect for you. In fact, if you use a Sokkia or Topcon Total Station and also use a Sokkia GPS receiver or plan to in the future, you can rest assured that the SDR8100 is the perfect data collector for your equipment. SDR8100 HARDWARE: The SDR8100 meets the same rugged specifications for environmental sealing and drop damage resistance as the SDR33 and provides more than enough memory and battery power for a full day’s work in the field. Weighing in at only 14-ounces, it is lightweight, yet rugged for easy use in the field, on a rod, or mounted on a tripod. Surveyors who have previously used an SDR33 will appreciate the ability to operate the the data collector entirely with the keyboard as well as one-handed measurement and data collection with ergonomic triggers and one-button operation. The touch-screen display provides easy access to data, commands and graphical views and allows easy reading in any lighting conditions with backlight and multiple levels of contrast control. COMPATIBILITY: The SDR8100 includes an instrument cable which works with Sokkia and Topcon total stations right out of the box. With the addition of an adaptor cable (not included) the SDR8100 can be used with other total stations from a wide variety of manufacturers. The firmware in the SDR8100 has categories for: Total Station, Level, GPS, and GPS RTK. Within each category, the user can select from the following list of instruments, levels, and GPS receivers in addition to the "Manual" setting in each category for user-definable setup. The SDR8100 should also work well with the equivalent Thales or Ashtech GPS receiver. For example; the Sokkia GSR2300 is a re-badged Ashtech Z-Surveyor.
