This welded wire mesh is 9" wide by 200 feet long and is manufactured in our factory. The 3 X 1.5 inch spacing is measured center to center of the line wires or the cross wires. The 13.5 gauge wire is welded into mesh, galvanized, and then coated with a thick grey PVC coating. It is made for erosion control mattresses but has many other uses, such as animal cages, fish traps, aquaculture, gabions, greenhouse bench mesh, garden fence, and other applications. Erosion control mattresses are constructed by making baskets of the wire mesh of the desired length with 9" high sides. The baskets are filled with stone to make permanent erosion control for the lining of canals, drainage ditches or streams. The wire mesh and stone hold the soil in place but allow the water to flow through, thereby providing ideal erosion control. The wire is very durable in highly corrosive environments because it is galvanized after welded into mesh and then plastic coated. The color of this coated wire is GREY not black as shown in the picture. This wire is in stock and the price has been reduced for quick sale.
