This radio represents one of the finest radios designed by Edgar Johnson and his design team at the company that bears his name. The unit powers up and receives and transmits. When I used the radio had great receive and good audio reports. The radio is about 75% of the way through a refurbishment. The cage has been refinished; the face and chrome trim polished. The speaker was cleaned and tested and the EFJ badge was refinished. All tubes were tested and are working properly. The only things left are polishing the chassis which is very clean, and replacing an aftermarket microphone with an original EFJ microphone. This radio would be a great one for a collector or for someone wanting to start one and it could be returned to pristine condition with minimal work. Radio comes with copies of the circuit diagram and power supply wiring scheme, power cord and microphone. Will not be a DOA! I have used the radio the last few days, Excellent receive and transmit.
