This unit is used to test instrumentation and electronic devices. It has both input and output capabilities for voltage and amps. It also has a resistor substitute module that can be use to induce a range of resistances for test purposes. It comes complete with two sets of test leads, AC battery charger, an extra battery, resistor module, and carrying case. It appears to be working when I select the various ranges. There is vlecro on the side of the unit that holds it in the carry case securely. I am not sure how old the unit is or how old the battery packs are, but they did take a charge and have held the charge for over a week.
