This Heathkit Sine Square Wave Generator is in very good functional and cosmetic condition. The instrument is used primarily for trouble shooting audio equipment but also has other uses such as testing timing and trigger circuitry. It has a clean front panel and cabinet and all knobs are original and turn freely. It has a few scratches and nicks in the cabinet, however, it is very presentable. There is also one small dent in the lower left corner of the cabinet (see angle picture) which is barely noticeable and is not affecting the inner chassis. The inside chassis is immaculate. All old style paper and electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with modern versions of higher voltage rating than the original capacitors. I have checked this item internally including all five vacuum tubes. All 5 tubes check very good or like new. It puts out very clean sine and square waves on all 5 selectable frequency bands. The instrument has separate 3 position voltage output range switches and variable voltage output controls for both the sine wave and square wave output functions. Frequency is selected with a large calibrated dial on the front panel. Outputs taken from separate sine and square wave banana jacks. Frequency output is from 1 cycle to 100KHz. No test leads are included, however, the components or assembled test leads are readily available from Radio Shack and other sources. A clean legible circuit diagram is included.
