These probes were designed for the HP1980A Oscilloscope, but can be used on most 1Meg input scopes. The 10:1 probes will automatically be sensed by the 1980A software and adjust the displayed sensitivity. They tested OK and compensated on my 54510A. The push button on the probe body is a smart feature of the 1980A. It is is sensed by the 1980A software. It will either bounce the trace on screen for trace identification, OR If a plot seq rom is installed in the 1980A, it will initiate a sequence of preprogramed key strokes. These 10:1 probes can be used on any 1 Meg scope and will compensate to roughly 17 pf input. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
