Massey Ferguson 35 for restoration. I don't know the year. According to the internet these tractors were first made in 1960. The diesel motor runs fair, hard starting at lower temps but runs good enough for working, it always needs starting fluid to help start it. The pto activates and shuts off good. The three point needs work it either goes up or down, but there is no in-between adjustment. The gears shift and work good. It has a high and low range and it will shift into every gear in both ranges. I spent 5 days with it removing the snow from the huge snow storm we had Christmas week.  While removing snow I shifted from first to reverse in high range many times pushing snow into a pile with a three point drag blade. It's traction and ability to move through deep snow surprised me. The sheet metal is in poor shape and needs work. There are cracks in the hood that were welded (see pictures). The back tires are in good shape as well the front ones. It takes some muscle to turn it at times to turn it so in the future it will need some front end work. The turning brakes work good both ways.
