It is mint in every respect. Not a scratch. The unit has been fully tested (On all bands/modes), and it works great. The battery compartment looks like new. The antenna also looks like new. I doubt this radio got much use at all. This unit even has a digital alarm clock for traveling. If you think you see any scratches in the pictures, they are specs of dust (I have a very good camera) - this unit is mint. The radio gives a nice, full sound. Being a ham radio operator for 30 years, I really enjoyed testing this radio. I had to think hard about not keeping it for myself! My goal is to make sure you are 100% satisfied.
