This flock has tested clean for Pullorum/Typhoid by Texas A & M and is registered with the Texas Animal Health Commission. Old English Self Blue Bantams are a unique, beautiful, solid light blue or powder blue variety described as a light slate blue without lacing. They are called "Self" because they will breed true, with no intervention breeding required. They are very attractive and gentle natured, but are not very broody. The standard weight for a male is 24 ounces, and the female is 22 ounces. Hens produce white to cream colored eggs. We guarantee the number of eggs you purchase will arrive unbroken!
