It has been machined and has aluminum inserts to extend the 3 inch face out to 6 inches. The aluminum plates can be taken off by removing the bolts. The collet only has External Threads. Threads look good. No Rust or Corrosion. Measurements taken with the collet relaxed on the bench. Outside Diameter: Original - 3 inch. Aluminum - 6 inch Flange Thickness: Original 1/2 inch. Aluminum - 3/8 inch. Internal Diameters: 4.933 - 3.997 - 1.925 inch The Gentleman whose estate we are selling, was an avid Ham Radio Operator and an Engineer for Western Electric and Bell Telephone.
