YAESU FRG-7 Short Wave Receiver**With Gilfer Mods Radio Mart Does it again, bringing you the very best in Ham Radio equipment to e-Bay!!! I took this exceptional conditioned Yaesu FRG-7 receiver in to stock as part of a part exchange deal. This came from a true fanatic, the receiver was sent away to Gilford and had a better filter fitted, 4Khz, and AGC mod performed. Fully tested and aligned this week, this is probably the best performing FRG-7 I have ever come across.. I have found the receiver a delight to work on, no components needed replacing and the alignment was straight forward thanks to Yaesu’s excellent design. Its in average cosmetic condition and it has that classic 70’s super smooth feel to it and all controls are fully functional and dust free. This is a real beauty and I know the new owner will be delighted with its performance and it performs like no other FRG-7 I have come across, just needs a good cleansing.
