3 STARRETT INSIDE CALIPER/CALIPERS MACHINIST TOOL NICE This is a very nice collection of three L. S. Starrett inside, spring calipers. They are all in very good condition with no screw or nut problems. For description purposes here I will refer to them as large, medium and small. Please note that all measurements are approximate. The large one is I believe the oldest and is probably 19th century. It is 6-1/2†in length and measures 1-1/8†to 6-3/4â€. It shows a patent date of June 2, 1885. One of the legs is struck with initials of a probable owner, HTA. This can be seen on the images. The medium caliper has the mark that was used after 1900; the year Laroy S. Starrett incorporated his company. It is 4-1/2†long and measures 11/16†to 4-1/2â€. The small caliper is absolutely great. It is 2-3/4†in length and measures 5/16†to 2-11/16â€. It also carries the post-1900 mark. These Starrett calipers are in excellent condition and would be a very useable addition to any collection. This is a purchase you will be glad to have made!!
