This coil has been modified to operate on a comercial frequency between 4 and 5.5 MHz with both sections connected in series. The top section has 12 turns and the bottom has 8. 2 1/2 in diameter, rated at 500 watts, might not be a bad tank for a 40/60 meter rig. Actualy there are a number of MARS and CAP frequencies around where it is cut. Standard ceramic base with bannana pins. Unit is split in middle to accomidate a swinging link, almost a mute point since it has been altered. Still a nice coil, new except for modifications.
