The August 1961 issue of Excavating Engineer published by Bucyrus-Erie Company. The cover depicts a Bucyrus-Erie 88-B shovel loading shot rock into a Cat DW-21 with an Athey wagon. The story on the biggest road job in Montana's history begins on page 14 of the 58 page magazine. It is a fantastic pictorial account of mass excavation in 1961. Numerous other project stories and machinery ads. A real nice piece of history for the avid construction memorabilia collector! Condition: Overall good..however, a piece of the back cover where the address label would be has been torn off. (please look at our rules and privacy policy) |
