Press on the two green buttons (one with each hand for safety) to operate The base contains a Campbell Hausfeld Air Ccompressor to drive the press. The compressor has the following specs: The base cabinet is insulated to minimize the sound of the compressor. It still is a bit noisy, but it makes the job easy, and of course you are not running it all the time. The base cabinet is on wheels that can be locked once it is in place. The base cabinet is approximately 28 1/2 x 19 1/2 inches and is 36 inches tall to the point where the DP1300 Pizza Press sits. Total heigth is approximately 63 inches. Flattens all pizza's up to and including 18 inches in diameter. Thickness adjustment crank included. I have seen the list price of a new unit at over $ 6,900. Shop here and save. This unit is used.
