Testing grid is metal with what I think is baked enamal top. It is divided into 6 sections of twelve squares each. The surface can be cleaned for reuse. There is a smaller wood box with a hole on top to hold antigen bottle while testing and on the side of the box there is a space to hold a bottle of antigen and eye dropper. This fits inside the large box and there is a lip inside around 3 sides of large box and one side of small box to hold the medal grid for testing. There is room under the grid for storage and there are several old bottles of antigen in it. The earlist date on any of the bottles says not recommended for use after Mar 5 1942. There are 5 of these bottles and a metal testing looper for obtaining a blood sample for testing from the chicken. Of course the antigen is unusable but included. From the dates on the items I would say this box is from the early to late 1930's . This would be a nice addition for someone who likes to collect old Poultry Items.
