This machine came out of a one man cabinet shop in Michigan before I got it. A superb piece of equipment that is wonderfully original. It also comes with original factory knife sharpener/jointer. The Buss planers were known for their performance and quality. One of costly and desirable attributes of the Buss planers were their famous wedge bed. The table slides on a wedge. Therefore there is not a problem in keeping precision under load or long term use The direct drive cutterhead has a dual voltage motor that is being operated at 220v / 3 phase. The motor drive for the feed rollers is a 440v motor. A transformer for that motor comes with the machine. My electrician wired my Arco Rotophase as well as the transformer into the circuit breaker box. All the machines have operated without problem using this approach.
