The answer is, "Maybe they're really more expensive than we are."
Ask yourself why you're purchasing a piece of test or measurement equipment. The answer is obvious: to give meaningful, precise, repeatable readings and results. Professionals know that the real cost of a piece of equipment isn't the initial cost, it's the long-term cost, which often includes repair, searching for hard-to-find parts, calibration and of course production down-time when the equipment is off line.
We've done the hard work for you-all you need down-time when the equipment is off line.
Teletek: 100% guaranteed satisfaction. Period.
This is a very small (approx. 3 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 1 1/4") step resistor substitution box. It's a seven-dial device with resistance settings of 0 to 9.99 + megohms, with a resolution of 1 ohm. The low and high end resistors are +/- 5% and +/- 10% respectively, all others (10 ohm to 100,000 ohm steps) are within +/- 1%.
High accuracy and resolution, low zero resistance, direct-readout in ohms and very small size make this a very desirable substitution box where small size is critical.
