This is an Icom M700 HF marine transceiver which is in very good cosmetic condition and in excellent operating condition. I have tested this radio on-the-air and have received very good audio reports. It is putting out over 100 watts on 7 mHz as can be seen in the pic (actually, I was whistling into the mic and the camera missed the peak by a bit, but the meter deflects to over 100 watts). It is suitable for use on the marine HF bands and on the HF amateur radio bands (has both USB and LSB modes available). It has three banks of memories, selected with the A-B-C switch shown in the pics. Each bank has 25 positions, for a grand total of 75 memory positions. Programming is very easily done via the numeric keys behind the plastic window. Insofar as I can tell, the radio has no issues, other than a slightly loose shaft on the channel selector switch (which is only noticeable if you’re picky, like me!). The case has been repainted professionally, and looks great. This radio comes with an Instruction Manual downloaded and printed from the Icom site, a hand microphone, and with an excellent power cord with two fuses. There are three other items related to this radio which may be of interest: 1. an Icom handset and hanger, complete with a connector for the M700; this item has been fully tested and is working very well; it is useful if you prefer a handset to a hand microphone. 2. an Icom AT-130 automatic antenna tuner which mates to the M700; it is in excellent working condtion, with manual. 3. an HF encoder/decoder which provides private calling capability; this is a $1,200 unit (new) which is used by oil rigs, tugs, and other marine and shore applications. It is complete with manual and instructions for mating to the Icom M700. It is untested, but apparently in working condition. This item is for sale at a fraction of its cost.
