The IC-730 covers all hf frequencies from 3.5mHz to 29.9999mHz SSB,AM, & CW. This unit has the optional crystal filter, FL-30 installed ( a $75 option not always easy to locate!). This allows for pass-band tuning continuously adjustable up to 800Hz from the upper or lower side in SSB and CW giving more performance to eliminate interference. I have owned this unit for over a year now and have enjoyed working ssb, cw, and even a couple of psk31 contacts. (My first QSO was with the Slovak Republic 20m ssb) on a simple vertical ground mounted w/ no radials) I've recently acquired an IC-706 and have not been using this radio. I should pass it on to someone else who can use & enjoy it as I have. Included is the HM-7 hand mic / a fused power cord w/plug / the box / and a copy of the original owner's manual.
