DESCRIPTION: We are selling a 1950 John Deere Styled tractor. It's serial number is 274911. It is in good straight running condition. The engine sounds like good like the old Johnny Poppers always did. No leakage that we find on the radiator. Tires are 12.4-38 on the back and in usable but weather checked condition. Front tire is 7.50-10. Rims appear to be o.k. Clutch is working just fine. Brakes may need a little help as the right one seems to stick a little. The hood and grill look straight and good other than around the muffler hole where it has a little breakage. Now the paint is definitely another story. It needs some new John Deere green on it as you can see. It has a hydraulic lift but no drawbar or support. The governor seems to be working but may need a little repair as possibly the generator. The seat does need recovered but framework is straight and o.k. Also, the throttle lever has been broken off and someone has hooked the shutter lever to control the throttle. Works fine. This tractor had a corn topper on it and one piece of the mounting is still on the right axle. Can be removed, we just forgot about it. The axles may need a little cleaning up from the mounting but are o.k.
