Pewter Diecast CASE CATERPILLAR Spec Cast ? Norscot ? This unique little item is made of pewter, I believe - it's a very pliable metal. It is a Case Caterpillar. Its two front levers are bendable, and have come apart from the piece that lifts up. I don't know if it was supposed to be permanently attached or not. It also comes apart into two pieces. I don't know if it's supposed to do that either. There is a spout hole in the top of the 'tractor' that I think a exhaust pipe is probably missing. There are NO markings on this whatsoever, except for "CASE". In my Internet research, I have found that there are two major manufacturers of farm-related diecast miniatures that are made of pewter. The ones that have come up in my searches are Spec Cast or Norscot. I do NOT know if this was made by either of them, but I have no other idea on what to call this.
